We are also planning petition drives to leaders of the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, and leaders of the DSCC and DHCC about the Democratic primary battle and the impact it is having on voter turnout all over the country.

The challenges we face are great: a funding shortfall for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid; job loss, due to outsourcing; failing public services; failing infrastructure; failing public schools and colleges; rising poverty; wage and pension inequities, especially for the poor, elderly and women; and global warming and its impact on our food and water supplies, our habitat, and on our very existence. |

We encourage you to get involved: If you have an issue that you feel needs to be addressed by our elected leaders, please contact us. And we want you to get involved. In the weeks, months (and yes, years) to come, we will be working to build a real dialogue between working women and men across the country and our elected leaders, so that we can truly start to address and solve the pressing challenges we face. |
